Barbara Kennedy White, a longtime Realtor, has joined Jack Conway-Swampscott’s sales team.

The former physical therapist and insurance executive decided to enter the real estate field when her two daughters were young because of the flexible hours and the convenience of working close to home, according to a statement.

"In the insurance industry, I was constantly flying across the country for meetings and projects," said Kennedy White, who is a New Jersey native. "So, when the girls came along, I took two years off completely and then decided to put my problem-solving skills to work in a whole new field."

"I have worked on transactions with Barbara in the past, and I know she is a top-notch, ethical and committed Realtor," said Conway-Swampscott Manager Tim Knowlton. "We’re so happy to have her come aboard."

Kennedy White is an accredited buyer’s representative (ABR) and a home staging specialist.

"I pride myself on going above my clients’ expectations in every purchase or sale I handle," she said. "Whether they are seniors, downsizing baby-boomers or first-time buyers, they know they can count on me to take care of them completely."

A Swampscott resident, Kennedy White is a board member and past chair of the Catholic Charities-North and a member of the Junior Aid Society of the North Shore, which raises funds for women and children in need.
