Kohl’s To Build 68K SF Store In Worcester

Kohl’s Department Store has signed a long-term lease to build a 68,000-square-foot store on 7.5 acres at 500 Lincoln St. in Worcester, home to the former Worcester Hotel & Conference Center.

Construction is expected to being in the spring, with the store opening slated for the fourth quarter of 2012, according to a statement.The site is currently home to an Aldi’s supermarket.

Mike Jacobs, principal of Worcester-based commercial brokerage Glickman Kovago & Co., represented the landlord.
