The Krafts not only keep business in the family, they also have a plan to pass real estate down through the generations.
New England Patriots owner Robert K. Kraft has sold his Cape Cod house to his oldest son and right hand man Jonathan. Kraft and his wife Myra sold their 7,524-square-foot Mashpee house to their son and daughter-in-law, Patricia, for $3.8 million, according to The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
The seven-bedroom, six bathroom contemporary style house at 16 Popponesset Island Road was built in 2006.
Robert and Myra Kraft maintain a primary residence in Brookline. Their 11,163-square-foot home boasts seven bedrooms, seven and one half baths and four fireplaces.
The elder Kraft also owns $9.05 million worth of property in Mashpee, including a 1,964-square-foot, two bedroom house down the road at 24 Popponesset Island Road, 1.15 acres of land at 30 Popponesset Road and just more than a half acre of residential development land at 31 West Way. He purchased the properties in May 2002, according to data obtained from The Warren Group.
Jonathan, 46, and Patricia Kraft also own several properties and parcels of land in Brookline, including a 3,918-square-foot home on Pine Road and a 10,933-square-foot Colonial on Woodland Road.
