Valarie J. Lacasse has been named vice president, business development officer, at Bristol County Savings Bank’s recently opened New Bedford banking office.
Lacasse, of Acushnet, has more than 25 years of experience in the local banking community, including 12 years serving business and consumer customers as branch manager for Citizens Bank.
In her new role, Lacasse will be responsible for identifying prospective commercial and retail business in the greater New Bedford market, including commercial lending and business cash management services, as well as insurance and investment opportunities for the bank’s other business lines. She will also work closely with the bank’s commercial lenders, retail bankers and cash managers.
