John Burns of North Reading has been promoted to the position of vice president of estimating and marketing at general contractor Landmark Structures Corp. 

In this expanded role, Burns, who joined Landmark Structures in 1998 as an estimator/project manager, will take the lead role in marketing the company’s services to its many clients.

In addition he will manage the Estimating Department, overseeing all of Landmark Structure’s commercial and multi-unit residential projects.
