LaVita Named VP Of Lending At CPCU

Joseph LaVita Jr. has been named vice president of lending at Somerville’s CPCU Credit Union.

LaVita previously served as a consultant to the credit union and community banking industries covering the New England and New York regions.

As vice president of lending, LaVita will become part of the senior management team, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business and residential mortgage lending.

"Joe is a great addition to our senior management team, his expertise will enable us to continue to grow the credit union while providing our members with additional lending products and services," said Rui Domingos, CPCU CEO.
