Michael Bonsey has joined Arlington-based Leader Bank as executive vice president and chief credit officer.

 In this position, Bonsey will oversee Leader Bank’s credit administration and credit approval process as well as loan policies and procedures.

Bonsey spent the last 14 years with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, where he had been chief risk officer since 2011. Before that, he worked in various commercial lending, loan review and credit administration roles at other New England banking institutions.
