Pittsfield-based Berkshire Hills Bancorp Inc., parent company of Berkshire Bank, has appointed J. Willar Dunlaevy and Barton D. Raser as directors, and made Patrick J. Sullivan executive vice president of commercial banking and wealth management.
The appointments are the result of Berkshire Hills’ acquisition of Legacy Bancorp Inc., which was completed last month.
Dunlaevy was chairman and CEO of Legacy Bancorp while Sullivan was president and CEO of Legacy Banks. Raser served as a director of Legacy Bancorp.
Corydon L. Thurston, who was a director of Berkshire Bank since 1988 and of Berkshire Hills Bancorp since 2001, retired from the board, the company said in a statement.
