Lend Lease, a national project management and construction firm, has hired Jay Russo as a new business development director in its Boston office.

Russo "brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the project management and construction industry and of the Boston area," said William Held, senior vice president, director of operations.

Russo received his undergraduate degree at Stonehill College. With more than 20 years of experience, he was most recently the president and founder of Boston Common Solutions, Inc., a consulting company assisting clients in all facets of real estate development and business development, and assistance in navigating Massachusetts’s city permitting process.

In his role with Lend Lease, Russo will work as an integral member of the local management team and be responsible for growing the business in the Boston area, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities, continuing to build relationships across multiple business sectors and generate new partnerships for the Boston office.
