Leominster Credit Union (LCU) has added a new feature to its recently upgraded Web site, allowing users to access a video and hard copy database of breaking news at the institution.

The new addition lets members and "curious non-members" view digital videos of announcements and ceremonies, as well as press releases that are sent to local newspapers, the credit union said in a statement.

LCU’s Web site was fully revamped last year to reflect the organization’s new brand and slogan, "Be Somebody."

"We received positive feedback when we introduced the website redesign," said Colleen Hughes, LCU’s vice president of marketing.. "Our latest Media database feature is already a big hit. While conducting online transactions, our members can take a few minutes to view the latest news from LCU. It’s a great, new channel of communication."
