Ralph LetnerWellesley Bank has hired Ralph L. Letner as its chief lending officer.

Letner will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of all commercial and residential lending functions within the bank.  He will report directly to Wellesley Bank’s president and CEO, Thomas J. Fontaine.

Letner has more than 28 years of banking experience in the Greater Boston area, most recently as senior vice president and commercial team leader at Boston Private Bank & Trust Co.  Before that, he worked at Citizens Bank for 12 years in a variety of roles with an emphasis on commercial and industrial lending. 

Letner is involved in several business and community groups, including the Natick Elderly and Disabled Taxation Fund.
