Boston-based insurer Liberty Mutual has opened the first of three new offices scheduled for 2009, a move that will add 50 new sales representatives to the company.
Liberty Mutual’s newest retail location is at 141 Congress St. in Boston’s Post Office Square. The recently opened downtown Boston sales office is a result of an increase in Liberty Mutual sales and service representatives dedicated to the Greater Boston area, according to a Liberty Mutual statement.
New sales offices will also open this spring in Northampton and this fall in Kendall Square in Cambridge.
"It’s a new ballgame for Massachusetts auto insurance consumers," said Jim MacPhee, Liberty Mutual senior vice president. "Liberty Mutual provides the best combination of price, product and service, and in order to compete for every customer we must keep growing our deep roster of knowledgeable, responsible insurance professionals."
