Sage Science, an life sciences instrument company, has leased 7,300 square feet of first-class office and laboratory space at 500 Cummings Center in Beverly.

Other life sciences companies housed at Cummings Center included Life Technologies and Biotech InnoVenture Center incubator, according to a statement.

"We’re excited to be in a space that has launched other successful companies, and we look forward to growing our business here at Cummings," said Sage Science CEO Gary Magnant. "The most appealing aspect was that the buildout required to move in was much less than was required at other non-laboratory-equipped facilities."
