Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has named James Linfield as a senior associate in the Western Massachusetts office.

As a senior associate, Linfield will broker the sale of multi family and investment properties, according to a statement.

"Jim’s in-depth knowledge of the multifamily market makes him an asset to private and institutional investors in need of brokerage and advisory services in Western Massachusetts, as well as northern Connecticut," said Gary R. Lucas, regional manager of the firm’s Western Massachusetts office.

Most recently, Linfield was a broker with a local multifamily real estate services firm, according to a statement. He has more than 20 years of experience selling properties in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire.
