Gerard F. Linskey, a 30-year banking veteran, has been named chief financial officer at Scituate Federal Savings Bank.
In this newly created role for the bank, Linskey will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the bank. He will be based at the bank’s executive offices in Marshfield, according to a statement.
"I am very excited to announce the addition of Gerry Linskey to Scituate Federal," President and Chief Operating Officer Richard L. Rowe Jr. said in a statement. "I have known Gerry for many years and given his extensive banking experience and knowledge of our market, he is a natural fit to our outstanding management team."
Before joining Scituate Federal Savings Bank, Linskey was executive vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer at Cohasset’s Pilgrim Bank, according to a statement. Other prior positions include senior management roles at Curry College, Hibernia Savings Bank and Milton Savings Bank.
