Boston-based architecture and construction firm Integrated Interiors at Work LLC has completed the raised flooring installation for the Littleton Police Station’s new 911 center.

The 1,200-square-foot regional call center in the newly constructed police station required floors to support the facility’s data and power distribution requirements, and provide a comfortable and attractive surface. Integrated Interiors at Word worked on the project with construction manager GNR Construction from Quincy.

"Due to the high call volume, and the critical nature of the calls, it was very important that the 911 center include an effective and efficient means of data and power distribution," said Daniel Aylward, senior project manager at G&R Construction. "Integrated Interiors at Work provided the expertise and installation for the TecCrete flooring that allows the cabling to run under the floor, while creating an aesthetic that fit into the architectural design and the client’s interests."

"To meet the project’s aesthetic requirements, we worked closely with the Littleton Police Department to consider the various possible finishes for the raised floor product," said David Atwood, general manager of Integrated Interiors at Work. "The resulting exposed concrete with clear stain finish created the desired look and functionality for the 911 call center’s ancillary rooms."

The project architect was The Carell Group in Hopkinton.
