Loughlin Joins BSC Group As Transportation Project Director

Thomas Loughlin has joined Boston-based planning and design firm BSC Group’s transportation group in Boston.

Loughlin has nearly 30 years of experience in the transportation and construction industry. He most recently served as the director of statewide highway operations for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, formerly MassHighway. That experience will help guide BSC’s municipal clients in planning and designing successful roadway improvement projects and assisting with operational and maintenance planning in their communities, according to a statement.

He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association and the Massachusetts Highway Association.
