Lowell’s River Place Towers apartment community recently hosted the second annual River Place Towers Resident Fair to support two local community organizations.

The fair, organized by the building’s management company Lowell-based Princeton Properties and the nonprofit organization Building Impact, benefited the Merrimack Valley Food Bank and Lifelinks Inc. Attendees donated 328 meals worth of food and money and assembled 500 food pantry raid bags for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, according to a statement. Attendees also made cards for developmentally challenged residents of Lifelinks’ community center.

Local businesses, such as Lowell-based M/A-COM Credit Union, Edible Arrangements and Arlington-based Cunniff Landscaping, hosted information tables and donated prizes to the charity raffle, according to a statement.

"It has been great working with Princeton Properties here in Lowell," said Alison Spindler, a community connector at Building Impact. "Their staff is very community-focused, and they are always looking for ways to help their residents connect to the community."
