The interior of Bentley's new Copley dealership in Boston. The building renovations are complete for luxury carmaker Bentley Motors’ relocation to Boston’s Copley Square – and the office interior aims to impress as much as the automobile’s engineers do.

Columbia Construction Co.’s Special Projects Division recently completed the fast-track 13,000-square-foot interior renovation at Copley Place. Designed by Neumann/Smith Architecture, of Michigan, and Boston architect Allegro Interior Architecture, the interior "captures Bentley’s unique image by incorporating custom details that echo the classic designs of their cars," Columbia Construction said in a press release.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Bentley retail outlet if it didn’t sport Bentley-esque amenities: "The entry alcove, clad in stainless steel, is complemented by ‘Bentley Green’ doors painted with a high gloss automotive finish," Columbia said. "Construction of these stainless steel walls required exact measurement and rigorous coordination; once fabricated, they could not be scored during installation on site."

"The Columbia Construction team did an excellent job of facilitating and ensuring the quality of Bentley’s specifications and details in a most timely way," said Jeanne Kopacz, managing principal of Allegro Interior Architecture.
