Wellesley Bank has hired Andrew Maloney as senior vice president and commercial lender. 

Maloney will be located in the bank’s Boston office at One Federal St. where he will be responsible for business development that contributes to growing the bank.

Maloney has been in the banking industry for more than 20 years, most recently working as managing director with First Republic Bank. Before that, he spent seven years at Citizens Bank as a division executive. Maloney is also a trustee and former treasurer of First Parish in Milton.

"With his knowledge of the marketplace and the ability to understand the business needs of our clients, I am confident he will be an essential part of our continued success."
