Maltz Sales Co. celebrated the groundbreaking of its recently purchased 6.87 acre property at 67 Green St. in Foxborough.
Maltz Sales, a local distributor and light manufacturing company specializing in the sales of small pumps for industrial, medical and agricultural use, purchased the Green Street property for $535,000, according to a statement.
Maltz Sales was represented by Matthew Morgan of Framingham-based Parsons Commercial Group. The seller Jack Gamache, president of East Weymouth’s Construction Planners Inc., was represented by Arlon Brown, senior vice president of Parsons Commercial Group.
The Foxborough property was ideal for Richard Maltz, president of Maltz Sales, because "He needed a location that serviced his Massachusetts and Rhode Island customers," said Morgan. "67 Green St. was the perfect opportunity [because it’s] located just off the interchange of Interstate 95 and Route 495."
Construction Planners has been commissioned to construct a 30,000-square-foot, single-story industrial building for Maltz Sales, according to a statement. The building will serve as the new headquarters for the company.
