A New Hampshire man is going to federal prison for more than seven years after pleading guilty to charges he robbed two banks in New Hampshire and two in Massachusetts.
The office of the United States attorney in Concord said 36-year-old Richard Perry of Manchester, N.H., also pleaded guilty to charges he forged the signature of a relative on checks and had a friend cash those checks and give him the money.
Perry was sentenced in federal court in Concord on Wednesday to serve 92 months in prison.
Prosecutors said Perry pleaded guilty earlier to charges that last summer he robbed two banks in Manchester and banks in Hyannis and Wareham.
