David ManningDavid J. Manning has been named as the senior vice president of Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB), an engineering, planning and design firm.

Manning has more than 20 years of experience and will lead the firm’s growing energy practice. In his new role, Manning will work with all VHB regions on energy-related projects, as well as pursuits throughout the nation. He will also provide insight and counsel on the regulatory environment and the latest energy policies and trends, according to a statement.

"VHB is focused on enhancing the services we provide to our clients and David’s new role with VHB strengthens our commitment to the energy sector and to providing clients with integrated, robust energy solutions that minimize impacts to the environment," said Bob Brustlin, president and CEO of VHB. "David’s knowledge of the energy industry is unparalleled and he brings a depth of experience to our projects. We are thrilled that he’s a part of our growing team."

Manning most recently worked at energy and environment consultancy M.J. Bradley & Assoc. He has also served in leadership roles at National Grid and KeySpan, according to a statement.
