A 75,000-square-foot industrial building in Mansfield recently sold for $4.3 million to a custom thermoformed packaging company.

NAI Hunneman Brokers Catherine Minnerly, executive vice president/principal, and Ovar Osvold, associate, represented the seller, Yale Appliances, and procured the buyer, Lacerta Group, in the transaction.

Based in Mansfield, Lacerta Group is a maker of custom thermoformed packaging. The company was recently named one of the winners at MassEcon’s 2012 Economic Impact Awards held in November, according to a statement.

Located in the Cabot Business Park at the intersection of Interstates 95 and 495, the property at 240 Forbes Blvd. sits on nearly six acres of land. Built in 1978, the property has nearly 68,000 square feet of warehouse space and about 7,000 square feet of office space.

"In addition to its great location in one of the state’s premiere business parks, 240 Forbes Road has the potential for an expansion in the future, giving its new owners plenty of options," said Minnerly. "On the other side of the coin, we at NAI Hunneman were thrilled to be able to help Yale Appliance both sell 240 Forbes Blvd. in Mansfield and secure a new warehouse facility that better suits its needs in Stoughton."

Yale Appliance, a seller of home appliances and lighting equipment based in Massachusetts, will relocate its warehouse operations to Stoughton, according to a statement.
