The Mansfield-based Lacerta Group has purchased a 75,000-square-foot industrial property in the Cabot Business Park for $4.3 million.
Lacerta, which manufactures custom thermoformed packaging, bought the building at 240 Forbes Blvd. in Mansfield from the Yale Appliance lighting and appliance company. Yale has relocated its warehouse operations to 75 Campanelli Parkway in Stoughton.
Built in 1978, the industrial property is situated on nearly six acres of land and comprised of 68,000 square feet of warehouse space and about 7,000 square feet of office space.
NAI Hunneman brokers Catherine Minnerly, principal, and Ovar Osvold, associate, represented the seller, Yale Appliances, and procured the buyer in the transaction. NAI also brokered Yale’s relocation deal.
"In addition to its great location in one of the state’s premier business parks, 240 Forbes Road has the potential for an expansion in the future, giving its new owners plenty of options," Minnerly said in a statement.
