300 Technology Square, Cambridge

The Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio), an advocacy group for the state’s life sciences industry, has moved from One Cambridge Center to a 12,157-square-foot office at 300 Technology Square in Cambridge.

CB Richard Ellis – N.E. Partners LP’s Senior Vice President Charles Kavoogian and Vice President Rob Kinlin represented MassBio. Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Alexandria Real Estate Equities.

“This is a significant relocation for MassBio that facilitates their long-term commitment to Cambridge and the biotech industry,” Kinlin said in a statement.

“MassBio is proud to reaffirm our presence in Kendall Square and is excited to join Alexandria’s Technology Square community, which exemplifies the strength of the life sciences supercluster in Cambridge,” MassBio President and CEO Robert K. Coughlin added.

Built in 2006, 300 Technology Square is located East Cambridge, and adjacent to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in the heart of the biotech industry. Neighbors include Novartis, Biogen Idec, Genzyme, Amgen, Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, the Broad Institute and the Whitehead Institute.
