R.W. Holmes Realty Co., Inc. has leased 40,000 square feet to The MathWorks, Inc. at Cochituate Place, 24 Prime Park Way in Natick.

Cochituate Place is a 110,000-square-foot, first class office building. MathWorks extended its lease for 22,000 square feet, and committed to the expansion space on the second floor.

Founded in 1984, MathWorks employs 2,200 people in 15 countries, with headquarters in Natick. MathWorks is a leading developer of technical computing and model based design software for engineers and scientists in industry, government, and education worldwide.

Garry Holmes, of R.W. Holmes, represented MathWorks; Craig Johnston, of R.W. Holmes, represented the building owner, LMF Cochituate Corp.
