Middlesex Savings Bank announced the opening of its newest full-service branch in Sherborn and the appointment of Michael McAuliffe as president of Middlesex Savings Bank and Middlesex Bancorp, MHC.
The bank launched the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and is the bank’s 30th branch.
Bryan Christensen, vice president, regional branch manager, along with Megan Nye, assistant branch manager, will oversee a team of banking specialists at the branch.
The bank’s new president, McAuliffe, has 29 years of experience in the banking industry. He joined Middlesex in 2014 as executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer.
In his new role, he will collaborate with John Heerwagen, chairman and chief executive officer of Middlesex Savings Bank, to help set the vision for the bank.
Prior to joining Middlesex Savings Bank, McAuliffe spent 15 years at RBS Citizens where he most recently worked as senior vice president, market manager.
