Executive Director Joseph R. Pacheco of Pro-Home Inc. is presented with a check for $1,000 from Mechanics Cooperative Bank Senior Vice President of Lending Nancy E. Stokes.Taunton’s Mechanics Cooperative Bank has made a $1,000 contribution to Pro-Home Inc.’s annual capital campaign.

Pro-Home, a nonprofit established for the production and protection of affordable housing, serves 11 communities throughout southeastern Massachusetts, according to a statement. It offers assistance to first-time homebuyers with down payment and closing cost support, as well as credit and debt counseling, and pre- and post-foreclosure services.

Stokes, senior vice president for Mechanics Cooperative Bank and Pro-Home Inc. board member.
