Mechanics Cooperative Bank recently donated $5,000 to the Narragansett Council of the Boy Scouts of America to help expand the council’s ScoutReach program.
"The Boy Scouts organization has long been a crucial resource for the youth of the City of Fall River. At Mechanics Cooperative Bank we are not only proud corporate supporters, but our CFO, Andrew Hewitt, contributes his personal time as well," Joseph T. Baptista Jr., President and CEO of Mechanics Cooperative Bank, said in a statement.
"Without the financial support and the commitment of Mechanics Cooperative Bank, we could not expand this much needed program into the Fall River community" Narragansett Council Scout Executive and CEO John H. Mosby said in a statement.
