The bi-annual Gala which will feature a silent auction, dinner and dancing. The bank’s sponsorship will support the youth and teens who attend the club’s daily outside school hour’s programs, as well as its Friday Night Specials and Safe and Sound Saturdays, according to a statement.

"The importance of the Fall River Boys and Girls Club quality youth programs …. are directly aimed at making our community a better place to live and work," said Joseph T. Baptista Jr., president and CEO of Mechanics Cooperative Bank. "We are a proud partner and supporter of their continued efforts and appreciate the tremendous hard work and dedication of the entire Fall River Boys & Girls Club staff throughout the past year."

Tickets to the gala are $100 per person.
