Medeiros Joins Mechanics Cooperative Bank’s Commercial Lending Team

Anthony Medeiros has been appointed vice president and commercial loan officer at Fall River-based Mechanics Cooperative Bank.

Medeiros began his financial career in 1993 working for the Bank of Fall River as commercial loan officer and assistant vice president, according to a statement.

Medeiros is "a highly qualified business loan officer with proven sales experience," said Mechanics Cooperative Bank Senior Vice President Nancy E. Stokes. "His past responsibilities working for local, community-based banks will complement our company lending philosophy and the bank’s commitment to the communities we serve."

She added: "As a bilingual lender based in the Fall River market, Anthony will be a strong resource for our large volume of Portuguese customers. We are looking forward to having him as a member of our team."
