Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England has appointed Milton resident Paul Melanson sales manager of its Jamaica Plain office.
Melanson will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and operations of 30 sales associates serving Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood and the surrounding communities.
Melanson replaces Daphna Fields, who was promoted to regional vice president of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Boston Metro Region. Prior to his new role, Melanson was an award-winning sales associate in the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Milton office for the past seven years, according to a statment.
"Paul’s skills, enthusiasm and knowledge of the real estate industry will help him lead the Jamaica Plain office to even greater success," said Rick Loughlin, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England. "I am pleased that he has accepted this new role."
Melanson has earned several professional designations over the course of his real estate career, including Certified New Construction Specialist, Historic Property Specialist and Relocation Specialist. He is a member of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
"The commitment of the real estate professionals in the Jamaica Plain office, combined with the organization’s tools and services, makes us well equipped to provide our customers and clients with the knowledge and guidance that is needed in today’s real estate environment," said Melanson. "I am looking forward to assisting these talented sales associates in achieving their career aspirations, and supporting our clients and customers in realizing their homeownership goals."
Prior to his real estate career, Melanson owned a travel agency that was based in downtown Boston. He sold the company to another firm and remained as an executive with the firm for several years.
