A member of Rockland Trust’s executive leadership team has left the bank after just seven months into the job.
Independent Bank Corp., the holding company of Rockland Trust, recently announced in a regulatory filing that Pamela Frey, executive vice president of consumer and business banking, ended employment with the bank on Nov. 30.
Frey came to Rockland from CommunityOne Bank in Charlotte, North Caroline in May, a time during which the company’s CEO and President Christopher Oddleifson appeared to have high hopes for Frey.
“We are fortunate to have Pam join our team,” he said in a statement at the time.
Ellen Molle, vice president of public relations and marketing for Rockland Trust, confirmed to Banker & Tradesman that Frey is no longer with the company, but declined to comment beyond what was in the filing.
It does not appear that Frey left Rockland for a new job because her LinkedIn profile says “open and exploring, while under the experience section, it says she is currently without a job.
According to the filing, CFO Robert D. Cozzone will now also take on the title executive vice president of consumer and business banking.
The bank has also re-allocated certain other duties and responsibilities of Cozzone and Frey to other members of management.
