Boston-based Metro Credit Union recently completed its merger with University Credit Union, combining the two entities into one institution with more than $865 million in assets.
Metro will continue to operate the two University Credit Union branches; the first located at 710 Albany St. in Boston, and the second moving down the street from its previous location to 922 Commonwealth Ave. in Boston, according to a statement.
"We are delighted to welcome the University Credit Union m embers to Metro Credit Union," said Robert M. Cashman, president and CEO of Metro Credit Union. "Our organizational commitment is to create tangible economic value for our members, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to serve the members of University Credit Union."
