Metro Credit Union has announced the appointment of Carlos M. Rodriguez to the position of branch manager at the institution’s Broadway branch in Chelsea.

Rodriguez assumes responsibility for the management of the Broadway branch, overseeing daily operations as well as development of consumer and business relationships for the branch. He is also responsible for the professional development of staff through the successful implementation of individual development plans, coaching and mentoring. Rodriguez brings more than five years of retail banking experience to Metro CU. Prior to joining Metro CU, he held the position of assistant branch manager at Eastern and Citizens Banks.

Rodriguez resides in Roslindale with his wife, Maribel, and son, Armani. He participates in volunteer work for the Lupus Foundation and Ethos, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting independence, dignity and well-being among the elderly and disabled through quality, affordable, and culturally-appropriate home and community-based care.
