Middlesex Savings Bank has promoted three more employees and hired another for various positions throughout the financial institution.
Nicholas J. Riley, of Stoneham, has been promoted to assistant vice president, human resources. In this new position, he is responsible for employee relations, human resource operations and recruitment, according to a statement.
Riley, who has been with Middlesex Savings Bank since 2007, previously served as human resources officer, community banking. Before joining the bank, he worked for Citizens Financial Group and Sun Life Financial.
Jeffrey Kerl, of Marlborough, has been promoted to credit officer in the bank’s credit administration division. In this role, Kerl is responsible for analyzing the creditworthiness of prospective commercial borrowers and for assessing the safety and soundness of the bank’s existing loans. He previously worked for M&T Bank in Buffalo, N.Y.
Lacey Teixeira, of Dorchester, has been appointed an officer of the bank and has been promoted to credit officer. Her previous job title was senior credit analyst.
Teixeira, who has been with Middlesex Savings Bank for two years, works at the bank’s Natick headquarters. She is responsible for evaluating the safety and soundness of commercial loans and loan requests.
William J. Carroll III has been named commercial loan workout officer. In this role, he is responsible for working closely with companies whose businesses have faced challenging circumstances in today’s economy, according to a statement.
Carroll previously worked for Greystone Equipment Finance Co. in Burlington. He also served as president and managing director of Andover Capital Group, an equipment-financing division of Andover Bank.
