MIT Federal Credit Union has renewed its 16,573-square-foot lease at 700 Technology Square in Cambridge.
Founded in 1940, the credit union serves employees of the MIT campus, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Whitehead Institute and The Broad Institute. It also serves MIT graduate and undergraduate students, MIT alumni and household members and the families of its primary members, according to a statement.
NAI Hunneman Executive Vice President Steve James and Senior Vice President Greg Larsen represented MIT Federal Credit Union in the transaction. Juliette Reiter of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building owner, Alexandria Real Estate Equities.
"The MIT Federal Credit Union provides important financial services to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology community and we are pleased to help ensure it will continue to operate in its current familiar setting in the years ahead," James said in a statement.
