Judy Moore, a broker with Higgins Group Realtors in Lexington, has received the 2013 Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) Public Policy and Property Rights Advocacy Award.

This award, created by MAR in 2011, recognizes realtors or staff who are active and successful in helping the association achieve its objectives of increased access to home ownership and preserving private property rights.

Moore is a MAR director. She has served on numerous committees at MAR over the years; most recently she was chair of the audit committee. In 2001, she received the Milton H. Shaw distinguished service award.
