The Mayo Group has already sold the majority of its first phase of homes at Gordon’s Woods on the VFW Parkway and is preparing to build more.

Phase II will consist of 23 homes along VFW Parkway that are due for completion in mid-May.

"We are extremely excited about how well phase [one] has been selling," said Kerri Bonarrigo, director of sales at Gordon’s Woods. "We’ve sold 10 homes in the past five months and we anticipate that this traction will carry over to phase [two]."

Abode Residential started sales at Gordon’s Woods in the fall of 2011, and has sold more than 70 percent of the 19 homes already constructed. All of Gordon’s Woods homes are Energy Star-certified. The second phase of Gordon’s Woods also continues to offer prospective buyers Federal Housing Association (FHA) loans. Borrowers who qualify for an FHA loan can buy with as little as 3.5 percent down.
