Flooring distributor MS International recently completed a 33,000-square-foot expansion and renovation in Norwood.

The project at 1080 University Ave. included multiple phases. Vantage Builders, a general contracting and construction firm based in Waltham, expanded MSI’s existing stone slab storage warehouse by 16,000 square feet, providing additional space for MSI to store its countertop slab inventory. Vantage Builders built the expansion into the side of a hill adjacent to the existing warehouse. The project required a $200,000 structurally retained foundation. 

The project also involved the construction of a 15,000-square-foot accessory warehouse building, and culminated with the renovation and 2,000-square-foot expansion of MSI’s office/product showroom area.
