Robert Murray of Hingham recently joined Flagstar Bank as senior vice president and director of foreign exchange and interest rate swaps.

A veteran banker with 30 years’ experience, previously he held a similar position with Sovereign Bank, now Santander.

Murray, who is based in Foxborough, is building a group of specialists in foreign exchange and interest rate swaps to meet the needs of Flagstar commercial customers in all its markets, according to a statement.
