Whitman-based Mutual Bank recently made a $500 donation to the Cape Cod Children’s Museum to sponsor activities that were held at the facility during the February school vacation.

 Cindy Gaudreault, manager of Mutual Bank’s Falmouth branch location, presented the check to Barbara Cotton, executive director of the Cape Cod Children’s Museum.

 "The Cape Cod Children’s Museum is vital to the Plymouth and Cape Cod community, providing a learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity and imagination," said Gaudrault.  "We are thankful to be in the position to support this cultural attraction at a time when other funding sources have declined due to current economic times."
