Whitman-based Mutual Bank has donated a total of $8,200 in scholarship funding to several local high school organizations.
The following organizations are receiving scholarship donations:
- Dollars for Scholars of Whitman and Hanson; $2,400 for two Mutual Bank Scholarships
- Silver Lake Parent Teacher Organization; $1,200 for a Senior Award Scholarship
- Carver High School Scholarship Committee; $1,200 for the Mutual Bank Scholarship
- Plymouth High Schools Scholarship Committee; $2,400 for two Mutual Bank Scholarships
- Pembroke High School Scholarship Program; $1,000
"It is our pleasure to once again contribute to these important scholarship funds," said Glen White, CEO of Mutual Bank. "As a community bank we take great pride in our commitment to local schools and recognize the significance these scholarships will hold for members of the graduating classes of 2011."
