Dottie Azar, a 25-year banking veteran in southeastern Massachusetts, has been promoted to lending manager at Whitman’s Mutual Bank, responsible for daily operations in consumer and residential lending and loan servicing.
In her new role, Azar will oversee a staff of four, the bank said. She has worked in the local banking industry for 25 years in Plymouth and Bridgewater, serving in positions including loan servicing manager and vice president of consumer lending.
A graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Azar has also completed certificate programs administered by the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association and the Massachusetts Bankers Association.
"Dottie’s vast experience and commitment to excellence make her the perfect choice for the vital role of lending manager," said William J. Morse, president of Mutual Bank.
