Mutual Bank has been named lead sponsor of the Carver Music Boosters Summer Concert Series with a donation of $1,500.

Summer Concert Series 2011 is the sixth consecutive year Mutual Bank has served as a sponsor, according to a statement. The bank’s donation will help defray costs associated with this year’s concerts, scheduled on June 15 and July 15 in Carver Center’s Shurtleff Park.

"It is our pleasure to once again be a sponsor of such a wonderful program," said Kristine Vecchi, branch manager of Mutual Bank’s Carver location. "As a community bank we know the importance of activities like the Carver Music Boosters concert series and we’re proud to play some small part in its success."

Proceeds raised from the concerts benefit the Carver School system.
