The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) has purchased a 6,800-square-foot building at 37 Waverly St. in Framingham for $805,000.

The building will serve as MWRTA’s new depot and operating center. MWRTA had previously leased the property with an option to purchase and has been renovating the property, according to a statement.

David Tognacci of Phoenix Commercial Real Estate LLC represented the property owners, Thomas and Teresa Battell. Christopher Tosti, executive vice president of CB Richard Ellis represented the MWRTA.
