Nahant Apartments Sell For $1.2M

The Edgehill Apartments have been sold to Nahant LJS LLC, an affiliate of The Samia Cos., a Brighton-based owner and manager of real estate.

The Nahant Road residential units sold for $1.2 million. The seller, 295 Nahant Road LLC, was an ownership entity formed by real estate attorney Harry Pass. Located at 293-299 Nahant Road on the island of Nahant, the property consists of 18 studios, one- and two-bedroom units that were originally part of an inn.

"Nahant is an extremely desirable north shore location with high barriers to entry for new developments," said Carl Christie, executive vice president for NAI Hunneman, which brokered the deal. "This transaction represented an opportunity to purchase turnkey condo units that can be sold for strong value or held on to as popular rental property."
