NAI Hunneman’s suburban brokerage team has brokered two deals in Waltham, one on Main Street and one at Bay Colony.
The Cambridge Institute for International Education has subleased 20,685 square feet of office space from Bank of America at 1025 Main St. Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.
Cambridge Institute relocated from Burlington to Waltham to capitalize on the "plug and play" opportunity and flexible terms being offered by BOA, according to NAI suburban broker Michael McCarthy.
"This was a tremendous real estate solution for our client because it offered immediate occupancy and can accommodate Cambridge Institute’s plans for growth over the next few years," McCarthy said in a statement.
Then, Lime Brokerage, a division of Wedbush Inc. financial services company, leased 14,310 square feet of office space at 1000 Winter St. from landlord Boston Properties.
"Our client moved to Bay Colony to take advantage of the high corporate image that the park offers along with the ‘collaborative-working theme’ Boston Properties has done such a nice job incorporating at Bay Colony," McCarthy said in the statement.
