NAIOP Massachusetts said Boston Properties Inc. will receive the association’s 2010 Distinguished Real Estate Award for achievements in real estate, charitable activities and community betterment.
The award will be presented to Boston Properties at NAIOP’s Annual Awards Gala Nov. 9 at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston.
NAIOP will also present a Public Service Award to Boston Properties’ late CEO, Edward H. Linde. The award will be renamed the NAIOP Edward Linde Public Service Award.

We are honored to recognize them for their tremendous success, as well as their deep commitment to issues of sustainability and community involvement." said David Begelfer, CEO of NAIOP Massachusetts. "We also are proud to present the family of Ed Linde with the Public Service Award, which will be renamed in his honor. There was no finer man than Ed, and his contributions to our city and our industry will never be forgotten."
